Meet Athena

Hello again!

I'm back sooner than I imagine anybody expected. Excellent, excellent. For the last week or so, I've been doodling in my classes (per usual), and I started work on a character that had been percolating in the back of my mind for some time now. This is, of course, the subject of my latest comic: the fair and fiery Athena. I will be revealing more about her character and past as time goes on, but for the moment I just have a series of vignettes. Fear not, however! I plan on filling out her character some more; she's quite the fun little persona with which to play.

On a side note, I've been on a Xena Warrior Princess kick. Between school and work and all the stress that comes with those, I rediscovered this series. Something small and Roman in me grumbles whenever the Romans in this series are portrayed as nothing more than sadistic asses. That's a small price to pay for the many laughs and heartaches I receive when watching this show. Not to mention the terrible 90s effects (then again, I love campy shows). But Lucy and Renee make the show worth it, and then some.

PS: yes yes, I know the picture is off-center. Blame that on the blogger site, not me! I tried to fix it. Honest!
